West Penn Allegheny Health System, Inc. seeks a Social Worker to work in Pittsburgh, PA, and collaborate with all disciplines for the purpose of assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating/documenting psychosocial factors that contribute to patients' illnesses and/or have an impact on continuity of care.
Must have a master’s degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in Social Work plus one (1) year of experience in a related position.
Must also have any experience: (i) working in a hospital emergency room and acute care hospital setting, which includes working with patient families with bilingual language needs, disabilities and drug and alcohol history; (ii) applying clinical skills in grief counseling, drug and alcohol counseling, crisis intervention, domestic violence and safety assessments; (iii) working with child abuse policies and procedures in PA; and (iv) utilizing interpersonal, analytic and critical thinking skills for problem solving and decision making in a fast-paced environment.
Must also have or be eligible for PA Social Work license.
