General Overview:

Responsible for the full life cycle ownership of product (Enterprise Business Platform) application portfolio, including but not limited to strategy, planning/road mapping, market competitive positioning, design, development, delivery support, and customer value proposition. Regularly engages with planning, design, architecture, management, operations, and delivery teams to enhance product offering and delivery. Heavy focus on software development and creating market differentiated solutions. Works closely with the senior leadership team to define company strategic direction, meet tactical objectives, and deliver value to customers.

Essential Job Functions:

Owns all facets of the application products to meet current and future customer needs, considering leading edge technologies and market trends, input and coordination from planning and design teams, product and enterprise architects, delivery teams, and customers. Oversees the realization of those efforts to completion.

  • Actively engages and builds relationships with delivery and maintenance teams to align strategy, leverage resources, and maximize value.
  • Ensures the implementation and adherence of government regulations, mandates, corrective action plans, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Contributes thought leadership and industry expertise to overall company strategic planning and execution.
  • Owens profit and loss accountability for product area, manages budget, seeks opportunity for profitable growth.
  • Performs management responsibilities to include, but are not limited to: involved in hiring and termination decisions, coaching and development, rewards and recognition, performance management and staff productivity.
  • Plans, organizes, staffs, directs and controls the day-to-day operations of the department; develops and implements policies and programs as necessary; may have budgetary responsibility and authority.
  • Other duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management Information Science, or related field.

Preferred Education:

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Management Information Science, or related field.

Minimum Experience:

  • Ten (10) years of experience in technology services strategy and execution.
  • Ten (10) years of experience in multiplatform support.
  • Ten (10) years of experience in managing group(s) responsible for client services, technical services, and/or production support.
  • Deep application development knowledge.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience managing complex initiatives in the consulting, healthcare, or insurance industry.
  • Track record of driving transformational change, leading teams, developing talent, and building relationships.
  • Experience running profit and loss center.
  • Understanding of Agile Development techniques and tools
