The Allegheny Health Network (AHN) is recruiting for an experienced and committed BC Pulmonologist to direct the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, Sleep & Allergy in the thriving city of Pittsburgh, PA, and its surrounding suburbs. This leadership role oversees the performance of 37 employed physicians, 12 mid-level providers, and 65 staff members; to lead and drive strategy for 10 Hospitals, 20 clinical offices, and 10 Sleep Centers. Some of the nationally recognized subspecialties programs managed by our interdisciplinary teams include: Network-wide Critical Care including Medical and Specialty Critical care, Breathing Disorders Center with an innovative COPD care model, Advanced Bronchoscopy including Bronchothermoplasty & Veran Navigational, Pulmonary Embolism Response Team, Hyperbaric Oxygen Program, Multi-disciplinary Sleep program. The position also includes academic responsibilities at an Associate Professor or Professor level including but not limited to research (basic, translational, clinical and outcomes-based), education and training with a 12-trainee, Pulmonary/Critical Care Fellowship Program which includes a novel leadership curriculum and was recognized in 2016 in the Top Ten institutions for Chest Challenge, 20 publications in peer reviewed journals and 35 abstracts presented at national meetings, 110 Medical Residents and medical students from Temple, Drexel and Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. .

The successful candidate must be fellowship trained and board certified in Pulmonary/Critical Care, 5- 10+ years’ clinical experience , formal leadership training and prior leadership experience preferred.
