JOB SUMMARY

This job manages day-to-day assignments, broker servicing and provides primary support of sales initiatives including coordinating and implementing large scale special projects, developing and maintaining accurate management reports, broker commissions, compliance oversight and consistency of sales and member materials.    The incumbent identifies and resolves potential issues with internal operating processes, maximizes the service levels, operational excellence and strategic values of Sales Support in their support of the new sales and broker management sales teams.   Key contributor to the implementation and maintenance of sales applications (i.e. Salesforce.com, marketing & training platforms, Evolve B360 commission system) and resolution of business process issues impacting the sales function. 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform management responsibilities including, but not limited to: involved in hiring and termination decisions, coaching and development, rewards and recognition, performance management and staff productivity.  Plan, organize, staff, direct and control the day-to-day operations of the department; develop and implement policies and programs as necessary; may have budgetary responsibility and authority.
  • Manage a Sales Support staff responsible for the prompt and accurate creation of reporting and day to day support of clients and prospects.
  • Manage a staff responsible for the prompt and accurate installation of new Organization agents.
  • Manage a staff responsible for direct support and resolution of issues for brokers and internal sales agents in coordination with the Organization's sales executives and broker managers.
  • Detect, investigate, research and analyze complex or priority issues impacting the Organization's business processes, product management, membership and billing issues, and other agent/broker specific issues.
  • Manage various market related projects assigned by senior management and lead implementation of strategic initiatives (i.e. Salesforce automation).
  • Manage day to day over site of commission and agent managements system by providing strategic and task related direction to the support team.  Act as the liaison between commission system vendor and team.  Responsible for audit requests and compliance controls of system .
  • Coordinate and implement large-scale special projects typically initiated by division management to support sales or other business objectives. Identify and resolve potential issues with regard to benefit designs and/or internal operating processes. Evaluate corporate-wide implications of changes to products and programs to products and programs that are new or significant to assess impact on all lines of business .

EDUCATION

Required

  • High School Diploma/GED
