JOB SUMMARY

This job gathers, analyzes, and distributes intelligence for Corporate Security and Employee Safety utilizing various intel products to assist in the protection of the Enterprise, our employees, customers, and patients.  The incumbent supervises investigations for the Enterprise, reporting to the Dir Corporate Security.  Conducts executive protection planning and coordination, including security of all Enterprise employees traveling internationally.  

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform management responsibilities including, but not limited to: involved in hiring and termination decisions, coaching and development, rewards and recognition, performance management and staff productivity.  Plan, organize, staff, direct and control the day-to-day operations of the department; develop and implement policies and programs as necessary; may have budgetary responsibility and authority.
  • Gather intelligence from various sources, analyze the information, develop reports/briefs, and disseminate to appropriate individuals/units. 
  • Conduct various security investigations across the Enterprise as assigned by management.
  • Perform various executive protection duties including security planning and protection services.  
  • Prepare, plan, and monitor employees' security while traveling internationally and execute appropriate plans if necessary. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

Required

  • Associate's Degree in Criminology

Substitutions

  • 3 years of relevant experience

Preferred

  • Bachelor's Degree in Criminology

EXPERIENCE

Required

  • 7 - 10 years in Security

To Include

  • 3 - 5 years in Criminal Investigations, and
  • 1 - 3 years in Executive Protection, and
  • 3 - 5 years in Management

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

Required

  • PA Act 235  Lethal Weapons Training Special Agent Certification (or attained within 6 months of employment)
