JOB SUMMARY

The consulting workforce leverages  combined people, process, and technology competencies  to support large-scale, complex customer engagements; collaborates with Product, Infrastructure, and Security teams to configure solutions and deliver value to customers; acts as subject matter expert and trusted advisor in both practice and customer spaces; and works closely with engagement and practice leadership team to define strategic and tactical direction.

The Senior Consultant delivers value to customers through client-facing advisory and delivery service in support of the HM Health Solutions product offerings. Accountabilities include, but are not limited to, owning deliverable artifacts, leading workstreams, engaging key customer stakeholders, building and sharing institutional knowledge, and developing junior professionals.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Advisory - Senior Consultant

•       Collaborates with Client Account Teams on Pipeline Demand Planning Exercises

•       Aligned with Portfolio Advisors to Ensure Pipeline Demand Planning is Synchronized with the Platform Organizations

•       Responsible for the Continual Improvement of Pipeline Demand

•       Performs Ad Hoc Analysis as Called Upon

         

Key Outcomes: 

  • Develops Client Engagement Team Roadmap to Improve the Client Experience by Current Workloads against Pipeline Workloads
  • Responsible to Build Repetitive Processes and Documentation to Support Pipeline Analysis
  • Ensure Pipeline Accuracy, Proper Stage Gate Transitions and Resource Planning Evaluations through Alignment with Planning and Delivery Teams
  • Governs Demand Accuracy of Stage 1 – 3 and Collaborates with Analytics Consultant to Enrich Tableau Data Reporting & Improve Go
  • Deployed as Testing Resource to Ensure Accuracy of New Developments & Enhancements;  Documents Results
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and professional development for junior resources.
  • Other duties as assigned or requested.

REQUIRED EDUCATION

Bachelor's Degree- Business Administration, Management Information Science, Health Administration, or relevant field

EXPERIENCE

Minimum:

  • 5+ years' consulting and/or industry experience​

Preferred:

  • 3+ years' healthcare/insurance industry experience
  • 3+ years' technology platform delivery experience
  • 3+ years' program / project management experience
  • Experience engaging, influencing, and advising senior executive leaders
  • Experience working in complex matrixed environments

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Customer focus, results orientation, strategic thinking, change advocate, continuous improvement, talent development
  • Excellent written and spoken communications skills
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments
  • Proficient in the use of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Proven ability to build and sustain internal and customer relationships
