JOB SUMMARY

The VP,  University Learning Strategy is responsible for developing and executing the University multi-year strategy. The VP serves as both the University deputy and the Center for Learning Strategy Lead, reporting directly to the Senior Leader. The VP leads the implementation of the strategy across the University and business units by managing the workflows and resources needed to ensure a successful outcome. 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own roadmap to operationalize University vision. Sets strategy and standards for learning experience design, content development and learning architecture overall.
  • Manage University budget and financial resource allocation 
  • Own governance model and operations
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders across HMHS and Highmark. Serve as communications liaison between the operating units, HR, and the enterprise. Influence leaders of University business units  (Curation, Experience, Operational Excellence)
  • Other duties as assigned or requested.

EDUCATION

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree Education, HR, or related field

EXPERIENCE

Required

  • 10 years Managing Complex Projects
  • 10 years Experience in Technical Learning and Development, Enabling Effective Diagnosis of Issues and Development of Innovative and Appropriate Learning Strategies and Solutions
  • 5 years Experience Leading a Learning Function

Preferred

  • Technology and/or Healthcare Industry Experience
