JOB SUMMARY


Based onsite in Eagan, MN, this role will lead the project and program management for a multi year health plan partnership for IT and Business Process Services.  This role is accountable for supporting the overall PMO framework for implementation related activities as well as ongoing operations.  
This role owns coordination and facilitation in ensuring compliance with all PMO artifacts including project plans, schedules, issue and risk logs, change controls, and other project and program management governing tools and documents.  The ideal candidate will have strong IT PMO skills and be fluent in ePMO and program management framework with the ability to interface with multiple local and other supporting organizations.  

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

   
o        Facilitate the change control process within the implementation program and steady state projects
o        Facilitate meetings and agenda items including but not limited to setting up and maintaining the meeting occurrence.
o    Coordinate and Create weekly reports where needed for customer facing meetings.
o        Develop and maintain positive customer relationships.
o    Assist with project profitability activities across the program.
o        Adhere to the organization's project management methods, project life-cycle methodologies, and audit requirements.
o        Support and contribute to the improvement of project management methods and practices.
o        Other duties as assigned or requested.

EDUCATION

Required

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Bachelor's degree

EXPERIENCE

Required

  • 4 years of experience in a project manager role

Preferred

  • PMP certification or equivalent training
  • Healthcare Insurance industry business and operational knowledge
  • Experience managing large, complex projects
  • Very good leadership skills
  • Very good organizational and planning skills
  • Experience with an industry standard software development life-cycle

SKILLS

  • Experience with customer relationship management
  • Presentation skills
  • Negotiation skills
  • Experience with conflict resolution
  • Experience with Risk Mitigation Planning
