Description

HM Health Solutions Inc. seeks a Data Modeling Analyst to work in Pittsburgh, PA and to be responsible for developing and maintaining data models that describe data assets and business rules used by the corporation’s business concepts, business processes, and business applications. Will also develop data models and associated metadata to be engineered on respective database platforms while adhering to corporate data architecture standards.

Must have a high school diploma (or foreign equivalent) and six (6) years of experience in a related field. 

Must have any experience: (i) using ERwin to construct entity relationship diagrams; (ii) using normalization techniques to create logical and physical data models; (iii) reverse engineering databases; (iv) managing XML schemas that are consistent with the data models; (v) using design aspects of relational database management systems with Oracle, DB2, or Teradata and with end-user database reporting tools to help develop internal reporting metrics; (vi) presenting the value of enterprise data management through the promotion of data modeling standards and create new standards; (vii) using data dictionaries and metadata repositories to search for and add relevant metadata information to the data model and customizing end-user data model reports to satisfy customer needs; and (viii) working directly with application teams to consult and advise on building new database structures using company approved approaches.
