JOB SUMMARY

This job has overall management responsibility of client pricing for Request for Proposals (RFP's) and new work for existing clients (Statements of Work (SOWs), Change Controls), client profitability, implementing pricing policy and achieving profitability targets.  Functions include but are not limited to: coordinate with sales to provide pricing proposals to support RFP's or new work for clients, work with senior leadership to develop pricing policy and develop client specific pricing to achieve profitability targets. The incumbent serves as the primary point of contact on developing the pricing structure for HMHS clients. Responsibilities will also include ensuring effective review & approval process for all pricings, ensuring pricing assumptions are regularly reviewed & updated, cost rate development, maintaining pricing process documentation and tools and delivering recommendations to senior leadership and support the roll out of pricing strategies.  Interfaces directly with HMHS senior management on pricing (including SVP Commercial Markets and CFO).

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform management responsibilities including, but not limited to: involved in hiring and termination decisions, coaching and development, rewards and recognition, performance management and staff productivity.  Plan, organize, staff, direct and control the day-to-day operations of the department; develop and implement policies and programs as necessary; may have budgetary responsibility and authority.
  • Coordinate with the sales and finance functions to develop pricing terms to support RFP's and new business with existing and new clients. Utilize all profitability levers to develop competitve bids while assuring profit targets are achieved.
  • Facilitate completion of all pricing reviews.  Ensure pricings are approved per HMHS policy.
  • Maintain all process documentation and tools.  Ensure all polices and process documentation is up to date.  Partner with Business Enablement on pricing tool enhancements/changes.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop pricing policy. Develop pricing targets and model future impacts of changes to pricing levels, pricing models and packaging structures.
  • Ensure that all pricing assumptions are up to date and has proper documentation to support.  This includes labor pyramid, average cost rates and overhead percentages.
  • Ensure proper document storage & retention of all relevant pricing documents / approvals.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Management

EXPERIENCE

Required

  • 5 - 7 years in Finance and Accounting
  • 3 - 5 years in Data Anlytics
  • 3 - 5 years in Financial Reporting
