Med/Surg Float Pool Group:

GENERAL OVERVIEW:

Utilizes the nursing process to provide and direct delivery of patient care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols.

This grouping includes Oncology/Hospice, Ortho, Med/Surg, Behavioral Health, and Acute Rehab

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs a comprehensive patient assessment to identify patient needs.
  • Develops and implements a comprehensive plan of care.
  • Performs and documents direct patient care and patient education according to nursing standards of practice.
  • Identifies and responds to patient condition to achieve positive patient outcomes.
  • Directs and delegates care provided by ancillary team members.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum

  • Current PA licensure as an Registered Nurse, or temporary practice permit.

Preferred

  • One year acute care experience

Tele/ICU Float Pool Group:

GENERAL OVERVIEW:

Utilizes the nursing process to provide and direct delivery of patient care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols.  

This grouping includes ICU, PCU, CDU, PACU, and ED.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs a comprehensive patient assessment to identify patient needs.
  • Develops and implements a comprehensive plan of care.
  • Performs and documents direct patient care and patient education according to nursing standards of practice.
  • Identifies and responds to patient condition to achieve positive patient outcomes.
  • Directs and delegates care provided by ancillary team members.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum

  • Current PA licensure as a Registered Nurse
  • Two years previous RN ICU or Telemetry experience

Cardiac/Radiology Float Pool Group:

GENERAL OVERVIEW:

Utilizes the nursing process to provide and direct delivery of patient care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols for inpatients, outpatients, and emergency room patients.

This grouping includes cardiology, Tri-County cardiac stress test, radiology, and cardiac rehab.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs a comprehensive patient assessment to identify patient needs.
  • Develops and implements a comprehensive plan of care.
  • Performs and documents direct patient care and patient education according to nursing standards of practice.
  • Identifies and responds to patient condition to achieve positive patient outcomes.
  • Directs and delegates care provided by ancillary team members.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum

  • Current PA licensure as an RN
  • BLS and ACLS certification
  • Must be able to enter MRI suite
  • IR and Radiology experience
  • Two years acute critical care experience
  • Moderate Sedation training
  • Stress Test experience
